Each week the PTDC chooses the best fitness articles from around the Internet. This list is chosen, to the best of our ability, without bias. The coaches who choose the list have no affiliation with this site. Their only instructions that the best info makes the list each week.

To end the year, we've compiled a list of the best of the best. Below you'll find the best fitness articles written in 2015 on the Internet.

Enjoy,

-Coach Jon (PTDC founder and head coach)

The Top Article of the Year

Some believe that exercise technique is very much a black and white affair; you're either doing it right or wrong. However there's much more to it than this, based on individual needs and anatomy.

This year's top pick delves into the squat in particular, explaining why it's not always mobility which may affect limitations in technique, and what differences in hip anatomy mean that people can't physically set up the same and squat ass-to-grass.

Should I squat with a narrow or wide stance?

Will my bony anatomy physically allow me to squat past parallel?

As coaches we need to accept and understand that everyone is not the same, and that these factors affect how we must coach the squat for different people.
