2 Coaching Concepts
1.
Be the type of client you want to attract.
Self-assess: Are you the type of person who:
• Shows up late.
• Doesn't take accountability.
• Procrastinates from taking action.
• Blames, complains, or plays the victim.
or, are you the type of person who:
• Is punctual.
• Owns your decisions.
• Takes (im)perfect action.
Here's a challenging question I'll leave you with:
Are you casting blame onto others for their behaviours but falling into the same trap yourself?

2.
Here's three books every trainer should read:
i) Ignite the Fire - Jonathan Goodman (that's me)
A clear road map to building your career from the bottom up so you can find more clients, build your reputation, and make more money.
ii) Strength Training for Fat loss - Nick Tumminello
How to use the 3 Cs of metabolic strength training—circuits, combinations, and complexes to build great programs.
iii) Linchpin - Seth Godin
How to stand out and make a difference.
2 Business Nuggets
1.
Here's 7 questions to ask before opening a gym:
i) Do I need a business partner?
ii) How will I attract other top trainers?
iii) Am I willing to sleep there?
iv) Do I have 6 months of living expenses saved?
v) What streams of revenue will I have?
vi) What's my long-term vision?
vii) Who am I doing this for, and why?

2.
3 sentences for people who work in fitness that'll make you more than a 4 year business degree
i) There's no such thing as too high a price, only too little value.
ii) Find a way to make boring, yet effective, fitness fun.
iii) Connect the benefit (feeling great in a dress) to the quantitative measurement (losing 3 inches).
1 Quote to Consider
"90% of people never have a plan whenever they walk into the gym.
Also, 90% of people never reach their goals in the gym.
This is not a coincidence."
