Solving burnout: A (very) Old Solution (Article)
Moving on, here's a few short thoughts this week.
Money
The test for whether something matters is whether it makes you a better person for having done it.
2.
Chaotically ambitious individuals who chase fads rarely win out over an extended period. And yet, missing out on the short-term can be a hard pill to swallow, especially when others’ success seems sudden and extreme. Personal and professional success isn’t the result of brilliance; it’s the reward you get for being consistently not stupid longer than the other guy.

Health
1.
Always keep something in the tank.—two reps, two hours, two favors unspent. Burnout is failure. Keep your cup half-full. The ones who last are the ones who know when to hold a little back on any given day so that they can show up the next day.
Relationships
1.
Nothing is ever as big of a deal as it feels like it is at the moment. Calm down. Count to ten. Do that thing that they teach kids where you pretend that you’re holding a cup of hot chocolate and need to cool it down by blowing on it softly.
2.
When you wake up in the morning, resist the urge to look at your phone. The world didn’t blow up overnight. I promise. Even if it did, checking your phone won’t make a damn difference. May as well enjoy a snuggle with your wife and scramble some eggs before the impending apocalypse.

Huge QuickCoach Feature Announcement - Video Library is Live
QuickCoach is free software for trainers to use with their clients.
Over 40,000 coaches have registered to use it to train clients both in-person and online.
I'm excited to share that we now have an optional exercise library for you to use. There's 500 exercises in there now with another 1,000 being added soon.
We've provided the name, video, and description.
You can import some (or all) into your account and customize any aspect.
What's even cooler is that this was a community project.
Instead of hiring models, we combined licensing existing videos from QuickCoach users and got others to create new ones.
Then we paid other QC users to do the descriptions and do checks on form.
I've heard trainers complain about other video libraries from other software platforms showing bad form, having weird descriptions, or not showcasing realistic body types.
You won't get that with QuickCoach. We truly are for trainers, by trainers.
Existing user? Check it out!
Created an account before but stopped using QC? See what's new!
Brand new? Test-drive QuickCoach today. It's free!
