You never get to replay a decision. It's like, the bus is coming: You can run to catch it or wait for the next.
Each bus has different people and timing. Odds are, in the case of catching two buses a few minutes apart, you won’t notice the impact of one choice over another. But think about it. How many different things can happen? And how many little choices do we make each day with divergent paths.
It’s a hard concept for me to even wrap my head around.
You’ll only ever get to find out what’s behind door number one. Even if the result is positive, you’ll always wonder, “what if . . . “.
Regrets are unavoidable. Make yours regrets of commission, not omission. Of the things you did, not that you didn’t do.
