Obvious Choice Podcast Episodes:

*If you only choose one, make it this one.

Money

1.

I used to hire a company to mow my lawn for me. For the first two years I lived in my home, I decided that ‘my time was worth more than what it would cost to hire out the job’.

The one day I mowed my own lawn.

And I felt a pride in beautifying my home that surprised me.

And that’s when I realized that calculating how much your time is worth and hiring out all jobs that cost less than your time value is missing the most important thing. Which is that some jobs are simply worth doing.

Health

1.

When you do hard things, it stretches you. You get stronger. And the next time it doesn’t feel so hard. Meeting your potential is a worthwhile goal to strive for. Your potential is, of course, a constantly moving goal line, impossible to meet; yet, still worth striving for.

2.

Exhausting the body is a wonderful way to energize the mind.

3.

Your brain is software. Upgrade it by reading books, learning new skills, and exploring new ideas.

Your body is hardware. Upgrade it with a physical discipline: Run, lift, bike, do pilates; it doesn’t matter.

Relationships

1.

Harvard Professor Clayton Christenson (RIP) on being grateful for not affording a perfectly finished house.

"Everything that needed to be fixed had to be fixed by us and by the kids. Now, most people would think of this as a complete chore. But inadvertently, we had moved our family into an environment rich in opportunities for us to work together.”

A Few Good Quotes from a Great Book

"I would not have raised you to be a great man. There is no peace for great men. I would have had you be a decent one. I would have given you the quiet strength to grow old with the woman you love."

"Specialization makes us limited, simple insects."

“Friendships take minutes to make, moments to break, years to repair."

From Golden Son (Red Rising Book 2) by Pierce Brown

Super cool how much QC continues to grow because it's an experiment . . .

We don't do ads, affiliate marketing, or other marketing methods most software companies utilize.

Why?

Because those costs get passed on to you, the user. Which is just one of the reasons why other apps out there are needlessly expensive.

Our growth is solely a result of our users loving the platform and telling their friends.

To be honest, I didn't know if it would work. But, looks like it is. A testament to the usefulness of QC and our amazing community! Super cool.

Anyway, if you're a personal trainer or nutrition coach looking for a software / app solution for your clients, please use QuickCoach.

-It's free to use.
-Slick for your clients.
-And simple for you to figure out.

We offer incredible support to help you get set up, too.

Please create your account at www.QuickCoach.Fit today, load your clients, and tell your friends and colleagues.
