The Top Article of the Week
Let's face it, the fitness industry has garnered a pretty bad reputation, and rightfully so. While there are many credible, educated, experienced, talented, and passionate coaches, there is an alarmingly large number of imposters who pose as coaches. Many of these "coaches" do not have the best interest of their audience or clients at heart, and they lack the knowledge, experience, and credibility to truly help people. They have become proficient at playing the game, and are making a killing financially.
The good coaches are fighting a huge and daily battle to put out the constant fires that the Insta-stars or other social media celeb coaches are spreading. It is extremely important to note that while this passionate article by Lee Boyce brings awareness to the situation, as some people are legitimately very naive, it is absolutely imperative that rather than simply voicing our displeasure, the fitness community must work together to provide solutions to the issue, and promote what we are passionate about, versus just complaining about what we dislike or disagree with. Otherwise nothing will change.
